Doctors

Fundamental to the work we do at DreamSmartTutors is ensuring that students obtain real career insights into medicine. Therefore, we are always in need of doctors to speak about their careers and real life experiences to our students. We hire doctors from all grades and specialties to speak to students for forty-five minutes including questions and answers. We usually require presentations in the form of a powerpoint or equivalent document. Our courses are one day and based in venues in London. Study leave can be used to attend our courses.

Benefits include:

  • We pay a flat fee for your time on the day and travel expenses
  • Inspiring students and more importantly educating them about the challenges of a medical career
  • Teaching experience
  • Teamwork and networking with other doctors present on the day
  • Certificates of attendance and participation signed by Dr. Baptiste
  • References for work or other requirements
  • Testimonials
  • Professional photos of you for your personal use
  • Membership to our community of doctors which includes free tickets to our quarterly networking events

Events manager

We host quarterly networking events and require an events manager to organise the events. Previous experience organising a wide variety of events is desirable but not essential.

Course facilitator

Our courses require a lead who will be present for the whole day (usually 9am – 5pm or 10am – 3.30pm). The role involves registering attendees and speakers, overseeing and executing the course schedule for the day.

Course tutors

In addition to delivering course content, course tutors are needed for our professional services.

Schools coordinator

We work with a number of schools within London to deliver our courses to students who are planning on applying to medical school (and other courses at Oxbridge). The role involves maintaining and seeking new relationships with schools. We also work with other organisations such as the National Citizens Service (NCS) and the role would also involve liaising with them.

Social media marketing manager

The role of the social media marketing manager would involve overseeing and creating engaging social media content on our Facebook and Twitter pages. They would also need to set up a social media account for Instagram. The role also involves growing the number of followers on all accounts.
